If it was sold without the help of a Realtor, then the information is hard to find. It may be possible to find out at the county records office. Some counties in Missouri have started requiring the actual sale price be disclosed, and they post it online in the tax record for the property. This is the exception, however, and most counties don't keep this kind of information. You also need to be careful with sites like Zillow.
