Do i need to have a job to apply for a student auto loan?

I'm a freshman in college and I really need to get my own car. Paying for it is the big problem. My mom(single parent) seems to be all for it if I can find a loan with a low monthly payment. I've seen articles about student auto loans online but haven't been able to get that much info on the specifics. Can someone help me out with those also? Any other suggestions for paying for the car would be appreciated.

Hey Kid, those three below do not send anything to their e-mail address. If they were a legitimate company they would not be using yahoo email accounts, they would have their own website and an email account for that site. Just a heads up, also follow my advice for your other question.

yes, you will need some sort of income in order to get a loan....or any kind of credit...you might want to get a credit card first to build your credit it will probably give you a very low limit ($500). i think best way is to have a parent co borrow the auto loan with you. this way you can register the car in your name and use their credit for the loan reference.

Try getting a student loan for school use the money to buy a car.That way proof of income won't be required.
